Disappointment

how does one deal with disappointment? How do you move one after a loss? when you've worked hard to achieve something and it does'nt go your way how do you walk from it . There is a quote that says "on any given sunday you can win or lose ,trick is do you win or lose like a man.

Well i can now say that i now know how Roger Federer felt when he lost to Nadal at wimbledon last year and how Eamon Sullivan felt when Alain Bernard beat him in the 50m freestyle . I can truly say that losing really beats especially when you believe that you could have done a better job. It really tears at ones soul and kills your spirit and with everyone trying to console you makes you feel so bad (like a chill down your spine). You don't know what to do , Do you laugh ,cry or scream. You don't know why the gods have forsaken you ?

When Roger federer cried last year it was a very sad moment as he put gave everything and gave into nothing and he left it all on the court and i believe he was justified to cry. i feel like crying but one has to be strong. I had hope in life but with each day that that election went on my hope was stolen away from me and that was not fair. last night i truly felt as if the world was out to get me. You try so hard to play by the rules but there are things that just want to get in the way of your happiness ,after all this all you want to do is lock yourself away and just get your anger and sadness out but that won't work as you still have to act professional and be a man.

They say be gracious in defeat, be a man and pick yourself up ,dust off your shoulders and walk with your head held high .I must tell you it's hard walking everyday that if things had gone differently you could have or would have been there but your not and life goes on (that ironic i say that all the time) and it's true life does go on and you have to take disappointment and show the world that even if you feel so bad inside that you are the professional people expect you to be. Always believe that God works all things for those who love him and know that the harshest of winter is always followed by the warmest of spring.
